How NELP Used Trax to Bring QA, Logistics and Compliance into One Real-Time Platform
NELP used Trax to unify QA, logistics, and compliance in real time, reducing missing records and closeout surprises.
North East Link Program (NELP)
QA, logistics, and compliance in one field workflow
NELP involved multiple delivery teams and changing site conditions. Paper diaries and delayed reporting made it hard to see current status across quality checks, deliveries, and sign-offs.
The risk was broader than admin delay. Missed ITP signatures and incomplete records can block handover and create avoidable rework.
Trax was deployed on selected packages to bring these workflows into one live system:
- QR-linked inspection checklists in the field
- Material logs tied to specific work steps
- Immediate dashboard updates for office teams
Adoption was quick because crews used it directly in daily work. Onboarding took hours, not weeks, and by week two teams were submitting high volumes of QA records each day.
The main outcome was fewer surprises at closeout. Teams could see record status as work progressed instead of chasing missing items at the end.
“We used to spend hours chasing missing ITP sign-offs. Now we can see them as they happen.”
