Keon Parade Proves What’s Possible: The First Fully Digital Commissioning Event
Keon Parade delivered a fully digital T&C event, replacing paper sign-offs with live approvals and faster possession closeout.
Keon Parade case study
Moving a full T&C event from paper to digital
Testing and Commissioning has traditionally relied on paper work instructions, physical certificates, and manual sign-off workflows.
At Keon Parade, project teams moved that process into Trax for a live commissioning event. Work instructions, CTC approvals, and role-based signatures were captured directly in the platform with timestamps and version history.
The goal was simple: keep standards intact while removing the lag caused by paper handling.
The setup was shaped with SST, Metro Trains Melbourne, and delivery partners so it matched existing rail controls:
- Familiar T&C structure for field teams
- Role-based approvals
- Offline operation in low-connectivity areas
During the event, supervisors could see status in real time instead of waiting for paperwork to return. Closeout was faster because records were already complete and organized.
Following the successful run, Metro Trains formally approved digital signatures for CTC documentation.
