Manchester and Mooroolbark weekend occupation

SEPA used a weekend occupation to trial Trax in live construction and commissioning conditions.

The main problem was visibility. During fast shutdown windows, teams often rely on verbal updates and paper logs, which means management sees true status late.

At Manchester and Mooroolbark, signalling and construction crews used Trax to:

• Log completed works in real time
• Generate and sign QA records in the field
• Keep project managers updated during the event

In the lead-up, RES worked with end users to tune test log workflows and CTC document handling so the system matched site practice.

After the occupation, the team had an organized digital record ready for review and audit, including ATO requirements.

This trial informed the next phase of digital T&C rollout across similar possession environments.
